Celebrating Impact: Key Achievements from Our Latest Report
Posted on 26 February 2025 by Pippa McClounan
As we wrap up another year of dedicated work, we are thrilled to share with you the highlights from our latest Impact Report.
This report showcases the strides we’ve made in our mission to:
- Support and empower people living with TS, and their loved ones, through comprehensive advice and support
- Campaign to improve services, raise awareness and understanding of TS, and work to eliminate the stigma surrounding it
- Assist and promote essential research into Tourette syndrome.
Thanks to your continued support, we’ve reached some incredible milestones, and we’re excited to share the difference we’ve made together.
Impact at a Glance
This year has been one of growth and change. With the help of our partners, supporters, and donors, we’ve:
- Provided Helpdesk guidance to over 3700 individual queries via email, social media, phone or LiveChat
- Saw a 139% increase year on year of people completing our eLearning Module - over 2000 participants
- Delivered 104 training sessions to schools, organisations, workplaces and community groups
Each of these milestones represents not just numbers, but the real lives impacted. Behind every statistic is a story, a community, and a person who has benefitted from the work we’ve done together.
Collaborative Successes
One of the most inspiring elements of this year has been the strength of our collaborations. We’ve worked closely with organisations and supporters to create lasting change in ways that no single effort could achieve alone. Some highlights of our partnerships include:
- A key step forward in our involvement with the NICE Committee, sitting as specialist panel members
- The Nottingham Steering Group completed an animation to reflect the voices and experiences of people trying to access healthcare for their tics, entitled #TourettesHearUs
Looking Ahead
While we’re incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished, there’s much more work to do. As we move into the next financial year, we are setting ambitious goals, including:
- Developing a new website making it easier to navigate, search and access for our users, and enabling us to provide new services and content in the future
- Delivering numerous fest events across the UK, in many new areas, enabling us to reach new people
We are committed to ensuring that every step we take moves us closer to our ultimate goal - Where people with Tourette syndrome are: accepted, supported and embraced. This is a world which enables people with the condition to reach their full potential.
Get Involved
The progress we’ve made is possible because of people like you. Whether through your donations, fundraising, or simply spreading the word, your support is invaluable. We invite you to continue with us on this journey and make an even bigger impact in the coming year.
Thank you for being part of this incredible journey!
