Online learning resource for GPs
Posted on 8 October 2024 by Pippa McClounan
A new research project from the University of Nottingham
Designing an online intervention to improve GPs knowledge of tic disorders
Both healthcare professionals and families with tics report challenges in the care pathway for tics. Therefore, in order to meet the needs of people with tics as well as GPs accessing the resource, interviews about the experiences of healthcare from multiple perspectives will ensure the content is co-produced and relevant to all stakeholders.
Interviews with GPs, other healthcare professionals (HCPs), adults with tics, and parents/guardians of young people with tics, lasting around 30 minutes each, will help support the research. The interviews will be conducted over MS Teams and will follow a semi-structured format.
