Creativity awards exclusively for people living with TS now open!
Open to anyone living with Tourette syndrome, the Tourettes Action Creativity Awards (#TACA) give people with Tourette syndrome an opportunity to showcase their creative flair to industry professionals, and not only have the chance to win a prize, but also to have their work exhibited in an online winner’s gallery.
The #TACA runs from 26 July to 6 September 2024, and is open to artists, animators, stand-up comedians, musicians, short filmmakers, composers, dancers, poets and more who are asked to create an original submission in the Visual Arts, or Musical & Performance Arts category.
The #TACA gives creatives a chance to stand out for their artistic ability alone, and to display their unique experience of Tourette syndrome to a wider audience. Tourettes Action focuses on fostering community between people with Tourette's, and the #TACA allows people of all ages to connect through a shared love of art.

Supporting the charity with the #TACA will be a number of arts professionals from industry, volunteering as mentors and advocates, determined to inspire and guide young people with Tourette syndrome. And what’s unique about the #TACA mentors, is that they too live with Tourette syndrome.
Potential entrants have until 6 September 2024 to submit their original piece of art to the #TACA website.
