Accounts Assistant Recruitment
Accounts Assistant: 14 hours a week: Monday to Thursday mornings
Salary: £8,000 to £10,800 pa dependent on knowledge and experience
Location: Based at our offices in Farnborough, Hampshire
Would you like to use and develop your finance skills to help make a positive difference to those affected by Tourette Syndrome?
By joining our team, you’ll help us achieve our objectives by processing and reconciling financial data to ensure we meet our legal and financial obligations. You’ll enjoy working with facts and figures within a busy environment where you will have exposure to all areas of the accounts function.
Your ability to demonstrate strong analytical and numeracy skills with consistency and accuracy will enable you to shine. With excellent administrative and organisational ability and a strong attention to detail, you’ll also be comfortable juggling a range of competing priorities whilst working to tight deadlines.
Tourettes Action is the only charity advocating for and providing support to people with Tourette Syndrome and their families throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland. As general awareness of neuro-diversity develops, there is more interest in our services.
As part of our priorities for the coming years we want to:
- Raise awareness of what is still a very misunderstood condition
- Provide support and training within schools, college and university and within the workplace
- Campaign for health service improvements, as many people with TS still struggle to access a diagnosis and follow-on support
- Provide support at ground level for those living with and affected by TS
The increase in awareness and in our activities means we now have a new role in our Farnborough office supporting our accountancy lead.
