Wednesday 10 May 2023

8pm - 9pm

We are thrilled to welcome our guest speaker Katie Harris, Senior Associate, from law firm Boyes Turner LLP, to discuss what an organisation’s legal obligations are under the Equality Act toward people with Tourette's in the workplace, and outline the practical steps a company can take to better support people with Tourettes and comply with their legal obligations towards them.

Katie Harris, Senior Associate

She has a particular interest (both personally and professionally) in disability discrimination with a focus on neurodiversity, and has acted for a number of clients providing representation and advice on complex disability discrimination claims involving neurodiverse individuals.

In addition to representation in tribunal litigation, Katie regularly supports employers with difficult employee relations issues, often involving employees with complex health conditions including neurodiversity.
