A project exploring the experience of adults with TS attending a weekly music therapy group

Enjoy playing, listening to and discussing music together

All instruments will be provided

No previous music experience needed

Starts 23 August 2022

We are delighted to share this amazing opportunity for adults to come together for a FREE 12 week course of music therapy in a small group setting in Reading.

Facilitated by music therapist, Lizz Lipscombe, this 12 week course will consist of 1.5-2hr music therapy group sessions including music improvisation, structured activities, listening and discussions. You would be asked to complete a pre and post session Questionnaire on week 1, 6 and 12. 

Please get in touch if you are:

• Over the age of 18
• Diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome
• Able to attend 12 weekly music therapy group sessions near Reading (Woodcote) starting Tuesday 23^rd August 2022, 7.30pm
• Fluent in English
• Not at risk of harm from playing musical instruments at these sessions
• Able to arrange their own transport to attend sessions
