Help a researcher include the voices of learners with TS in a new book aimed at education professionals
Posted on 21 November 2018
Researcher and Senior Lecturer in Education at the University of Gloucestershire, Tristan Middleton is writing a book aimed at practicing teachers, teaching/learning support assistants, SENCos and student teachers. This is a chance to include the voice of learners with TS.
Tristan is looking for people with TS to send him short descriptions of their experience in school of either:
a) Positive experiences of inclusion which supported their own & others’ learning
b) Formal or informal exclusion
c) Or other examples such as being taken out of class
Tristan would like to hear about what (if any) the emotional impact was or continues to be for that person.
You don’t need to write too much but somewhere between 50 -200 words. There is the possibility that your testimony would be used in the book but it would be anonymised and your personal details would not be used.
If you are interested in submitting then please email your descriptions to tmiddleton1@glos.ac.uk
