Genetic basis of some cases of Tourette Syndrome discovered

Researchers have discovered four genes that are associated with a higher risk of developing Tourette Syndrome.

 A break through in genetic studies such as this could potentially lead to new and improved treatments for people with TS.  The results of the study were published in the journal, Neuron on May 3rd.  You can read more about the study here
