Read more about our fabulous Colchester Support Group from group leader Annie Vasconcelos.

We are the Colchester Support group, and we meet on the third Sunday of every month at the Stanway Lakeland Centre in Colchester. It's close to the A12 and easy access if coming from further afield. We welcome families and individuals from Colchester and the surrounding area.

At our get togethers we have different activities on offer such as Halloween Magic & Craft, Christmas Crafting, a visit from the Nurture Room for an Anxiety workshop and we also socialise at the venue with drinks and nibbles. 

There is a cafe on site, a sensory room, and an accessible playground - which the children absolutely LOVE!

We are holding a fundraising afternoon on 5th November in collaboration with a local church who need a new roof!! We have made connections with a local primary school who are lending us some carnival games, so we are very much looking forward to a fun-filled afternoon! We are a relaxed group who are enjoying getting to know each other. Our Facebook group is very active, and people can reach out for support in a safe space.
