New Groups

Thank you for expressing an interest in setting up a Tourettes Action face to face support group.

Face to face support groups need to be run by a minimum of two people, a support sroup seader and a support group deputy.  Both group leaders play a pivotal role in nabling the delivery of vital community groups to those who live with TS or to those who have family members and friends that do. It is the responsibility of the Tourettes Action group leaders to ensure group meetings are regularly held across the year, offering members a consistent and safe place to meet.

Although being a group leader is a voluntary role, it is one which requires commitment and dedication, as this increases the success and longevity of our community groups, which is vitally important for our members and Tourettes Action. Tourettes Action have set out criteria for potential group leaders and venues, which need to be adhered to. If you feel you align with the criteria set out for these, we would very much welcome your application. Please contact our Support Services Manager using the details provided below for more information.
